The Greater Accra Regional branch of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association, acting on behalf of the national executives, presented an amount of 35,000 Cedis to a member in the Ga West District.
The presentation was in fulfillment of the association’s quest to assist members foot health bills that fall outside the remit of the National Health Insurance Scheme.
Speaking at the brief ceremony in the beneficiary’s home, Mr. Solomon Ajao, Secretary of GRNMA Greater Accra Regional branch, wished the member a successful surgery backed with prayers from the entire leadership and members.
On the part of the beneficiary, Madam Bernadette Yayra Lotame expressed her profound gratitude to GRNMA for coming to her aid at this point in time and within a short period.
Accompanying the Regional Secretary for the presentation were Ms. Sandra Ofori, Ga West Chairperson, and a member.
