The Minister for Health, Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has reiterated the government’s commitment to resolving the concerns of trained nurses who have not yet been posted.
In a meeting held today, the Minister warmly received the executives of the unposted 2020 batch of nurses, who detailed the personal and professional challenges they have endured during the prolonged wait for deployment.
Hon. Akandoh acknowledged these concerns and expressed empathy for their situation. He assured the nurses that the Ministry is actively engaging relevant stakeholders including the Ministry of Finance to secure the financial clearance required for their posting.
“The Ministry values the contribution of every trained health professional to the development of our healthcare system. We are working tirelessly to ensure that every trained nurse is posted,” Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh stated.
