The Nursing and Midwifery council of Ghana have introduced an instant renewal of PIN/AIN services. Previously, nurses, nurse assistants and midwives had to wait for some months to receive their PIN/AIN after renewal.
The service is currently available in Accra West and East Regional Offices. It will be rolled out to various regions soon.
The renewal of the PIN/AIN costs GHC50 and its valid for a year.
Requirements for renewal of PIN/AIN includes:
- Gathering of all CPD points needed for renewal
- Making renewal fee payment of GHC50 at any HFC Bank
- Submission of deposit slip, accumulated CPD points and expired PIN/AIN
